Dear Korea,
I’ve now lived in Seoul for five months. It’s the longest I’ve stayed anywhere outside of America. When I first arrived to Korea I landed on a Friday night and began working for a startup the following Monday. So far I’ve traveled to Bangkok, Shanghai, and the US all for work. Today is the first day I’m finally getting out of Seoul to see what I consider the real Korea. The parts where remnants of old history and culture still remain; including my own. Today I get to see where I was born in a new light. Not like the first time. Today I get to have the experience in Korea I deserve. So here I am. Bound for Gunsan to begin the journey of finding my birth family.
